Whilst the National holiday period specified for these events may be shown as only 1 to 3 days. In reality Chinese New Year can result in nearly one months holiday when migrant factory workers go home for their Annual Holiday often to rural areas. Labour Day and National day usually last for up to 7 days for factory workers including associated weekends

Currency conversion for Imports from China
Most Chinese producers incur costs wholly in Chinese Yuan (often called RMB or Ren Min Bi ). Until 2006 the Yuan was pegged to the US Dollar but is now "floating" against a basket of currencies, with Central Government limiting daily movements.
However payment in US Dollars is still the norm for Export trade from China.
